The selected candidate will manage complex cases, advise a diverse clientele, and represent clients before the courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Independently manage civil and commercial litigation files;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and execute strategic settlement and representation plans;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Draft legal proceedings, legal opinions, formal notices (<em>mises en demeure<\/em>), and various legal documents;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent clients before the courts, as well as in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide strategic advice to clients and ensure thorough file management;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with other professionals within the firm;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and articling students, as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Candidate Profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Member in good standing of the <em>Barreau du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent legal drafting and oral advocacy skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical mind, autonomy, and strategic thinking;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven track record in business development and client relations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What We Offer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stimulating and varied cases;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A collaborative and human work environment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A high degree of professional autonomy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities for professional development and career growth within the firm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Interested candidates are invited to submit their r\u00e9sum\u00e9.
